Position Summary

The Engineering Administrator is a vital link between the Engineering, Procurement, and Operations departments. This role is responsible for the technical integrity of our component database, ensuring that every purchased electrical component, from power supplies to industrial switches, is accurately documented, vetted against engineering standards, and kept current throughout its lifecycle.

Core Responsibilities

• Component Verification : Review and validate manufacturer specifications for electrical components and assemblies to ensure they meet design engineers provided specifications.
• BOM & Part Number Alignment : Validate and cross-reference vendor part numbers against the Engineering Bill of Materials (BOM) to eliminate procurement errors.
• Technical Library Management : Maintain and organize the company’s centralized network folders, ensuring that Sales and Operations teams have immediate access to the latest verified data sheets and specifications.
• Lifecycle & Obsolescence Monitoring : Conduct regular audits of the component catalog to track changes in specifications, part number updates, or manufacturer discontinuations.
• Change Management : Proactively identify and integrate replacement components for obsolete items, ensuring all documentation is updated to reflect the latest industry standards.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $64,000 - $87,360 per year, based on location, experience, and qualifications.
