Nanny Wanted - Experienced Part Time Nanny Needed In Vancouver, Bc $28 / Hour

We are a family in Vancouver, British Columbia seeking a nanny to assist with caring for our kindergartener, preschooler, and baby. This is a live-out position with part-time hours, offering a competitive wage of $28-30 per hour, depending on experience. PLEASE NOTE the suggested hours and only reach out if you are interested in working with our family part time, 20 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with infants and young children, as well as CPR certification. We are seeking a caring, patient nanny / mother’s helper for our family in the 25 / 26 school year, with possibility to extend the contract into the summer and beyond. Hours are M-F from 1-5, with some flexibility possible if we can find an arrangement that suits us all.

We live in the Commercial Drive neighbourhood in Vancouver with our three children. Dad works in tech, sometimes at the office and sometimes at home. Mom is a teacher on maternity leave until September 2026. Both parents, but especially Mom, will be around a lot and are very involved with our children, preferring to spend as much time with them as possible : )

Our eldest son is in Kindergarten at Lord Nelson, and our middle son attends preschool on the third floor of the school. Lord Nelson is about a 10 minute (1km) walk from our house. Preschool / school pickup will be a regular part of our nanny’s routine.

Care of the baby will mainly be Mom’s responsibility, although we may ask our nanny to supervise or play with the baby occasionally while Mom gets groceries, drives the older children to their activities, or tackles household jobs.

After school, our nanny will be responsible for entertaining the boys in the neighbourhood until dinnertime, including taking them to the park or the library, facilitating occasional playdates, or working on homework / playing at home. If time permits, some dinner prep, lunch prep, light cleaning, or children’s laundry care are much appreciated.
