DUTIES
Reporting to the Manager, Student Recruitment, the successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out the Institution’s student recruitment and admission activities, as identified in the strategic plan. As part of the recruitment team, duties will include building and maintaining relationships with prospective and newly admitted students and key influencers; developing, implementing, and evaluating recruitment initiatives; developing and presenting information about the University to local, national, and international audiences; communicating with newly admitted students during the post-offer admission period to ensure students follow through with registration and successfully transition to University; working closely with various departments across the University; and performing other related duties as required.
This position requires extensive travel, public appearances, and may include international travel; as well as some heavy lifting.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience (1-2 years) working with students in a post-secondary setting, preferably with a focus on student support services, recruitment and admissions; completion of an Undergraduate degree; or any equivalent combination of experience and training. Exceptional organizational, communication, planning, leadership, interpersonal, and public speaking skills are required. Knowledge of the post-secondary education experience is required, with knowledge of Memorial University programs considered an asset. Class 5 driver’s license as issued by the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador is required. Valid Passport is required.
SALARY $54,770 - $82,150 per annum (Management and Professional)
