Salary Range : $70,000 to 85,000

Our client, a leading is hiring manufacturer of custom commercial trailers based in Oshawa, Ontario, is actively looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer. In this role, you will lead the mechanical design and engineering for steel and aluminum products for the aggregate, construction and agricultural industries.

Responsibilities :

• Lead mechanical design projects from concept through production
• Mentor and train two Mechanical Technologists, fostering technical growth and collaboration
• Translate 3D models into precise 2D drawings for manufacturing using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to meet business and production goals
• Solve design and production challenges with creativity and confidence
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, integrity, and professionalism

Continuously improve design processes and tools
