East Kootenay General Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Relief full‑time Patient Registration Clerk to join their team in Cranbrook, BC!

Hours of work are rotating evenings and nights; 16 : 00 to 00 : 00, 00 : 00 to 08 : 00.

Position End Date : Return Of Incumbent.

What will you work on?

This position interviews patients, relatives and / or friends to obtain information required to complete the Patient Registration documentation and performs other related clerical duties. Identifies available bed booking options as requested. Provides information and directions to visitors and handles telephone inquiries such as patient room numbers and visiting hours. Responds to alarm panels by making announcements and / or telephone calls in accordance with the established procedures.
