Job descriptionGrow market share with residential builders and general contractors Build long term relationships through job site visits and customer meetings Prepare quotes, proposals, and product recommendations Track opportunities, bids, and activities in CRM Work with estimating and operations teams for smooth project delivery Attend job sites to review installation needs and resolve issues Identify new accounts, projects, and partnership opportunities Attend industry events to strengthen presence in the market Seven or more years of experience in building materials or construction sales Strong network with Edmonton builders and contractors Proven record of winning new business Strong communication and negotiation Ability to read plans and understand product needs Organized with strong follow through Comfortable with CRM systems Competitive and driven personality Established territory with strong growth potential Competitive compensation with performance incentives Supportive estimating and operations teams On the road flexibility with office support Benefits, vacation, and mileage program

Location : Edmonton, Alberta

Salary Range / Total Comp : $90,000 - $110,000

This Edmonton-based supplier supports residential builders and general contractors with high quality window and door solutions. The environment is fast-paced and customer focused. The team values strong relationships, technical understanding, and consistent follow-through.
The Right Fit :
The Business Development Manager reports to the Sales Director. The ideal person is a driven relationship builder and sales hunter. The role requires regular site visits, proactive outreach, and steady engagement with builders and contractors across the region.
Musts :
- Minimum seven years selling to residential builders or general contractors
- Strong relationship building and territory management
- High urgency and strong accountability
- Self-directed with strong follow through
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
