The Opportunity
This role leads the organization’s financial strategy, planning, reporting, and capital management, while serving as a trusted advisor to the President and Board. The position is responsible for providing clear financial insight, enabling informed decision-making, and ensuring strong governance and fiscal discipline. With a focus on sustainable growth and long-term value creation, the role plays a critical part in strengthening the company’s financial performance, resilience, and overall financial health.
Position Description
Enterprise Financial Strategy
- Define and lead the company’s financial direction in support of strategic and operational priorities.
- Produce forward-looking financial projections and performance reporting for executive leadership and external stakeholders.
Planning, Forecasting & Insights
- Own the annual operating plan, multi-year forecasts, and financial scenario analysis.
- Convert complex financial and operational data into insights that inform product development, pricing strategy, and cost efficiency.
- Apply advanced analytics to support growth, scalability, and continuous improvement.
Financial Governance & Reporting
- Uphold the accuracy and integrity of financial records in accordance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Direct audit activities, strengthen control environments, and oversee enterprise risk and compliance frameworks.
Liquidity, Capital & Treasury
- Manage cash position, credit arrangements, banking partnerships, and working capital effectiveness.
- Evaluate capital investments and ensure disciplined capital allocation against clear return expectations.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance organization.
- Partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Innovation to drive alignment and execution across the business.
Stakeholder & Capital Partner Engagement
- Support communications and relationships with investors, lenders, and financial partners as required.
Risk Management & Regulatory Compliance
- Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
- Ensure timely compliance with statutory, audit, and reporting obligations.
Experience
- Over a decade of experience in senior financial leadership roles, with preference given to candidates with backgrounds in food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods.
- Extensive exposure to ERP implementations and optimization, sophisticated financial modeling, M&A activity, and investor or lender reporting.

Education
