Job Description

Our government defence client is requesting a Registered Dietitian to conduct research and update food service policies.  Key Responsibilities :

• The contractor must perform the following tasks related to food services (and dietetics) :
• Conduct a review of all food service policies used
• Liaise with Food Services staff to eliminate duplication of food service work performed within both units;
• Participate in working groups and meetings on all food service topics, in person or virtually;
• Collaborate with Food Services staff to prepare briefing papers, position papers, speaking notes, and strategic research on food policy
• Develop food service and dietetic training materials to be used to train staff on any changes to policies and procedures;
• Assist in the development and updating of food quality specifications and make recommendations on additions, adjustments and deletions;
• Track, monitor, and document issues related to changes in food service policies.
