The I and amp;IT organization within the Ontario Public Service has historically had Microsoft (MS) development, support and hosting service from what was called the .NET Center of Excellence. This Center of Excellence has halted their business and has requested all Ministry clients to migrate solutions away from their support and infrastructure. The and #x27;CRM Dynamics 2013/2016 Upgrade and #x27; project will migrate 4 MS Dynamics 2013/2026 applications, owned by Land and Resources I and amp;IT Cluster partner Ministries, to new infrastructure. In addition, applications will be upgraded to MS Dynamics Online by March 2024. This will help future proof the applications from a support perspective.
Experience and Skill Set Requirements
As Senior Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the Dynamics 2013/2016 Upgrade project . You will work closely with cross-functional teams, I and amp;IT professionals, and leadership to lead and enable this initiative. Candidate must be a strong project leader who knows how to finesse relationships while keeping the big picture in mind.
In this role, you will:
• Develop and manage strategic communication and change management strategies throughout the different phases of the projects (development to implementation) to meet the established goals and objectives.
• Provide business analysis expertise to navigate enterprise-wide strategies, produce data analytics and draft briefing materials and dashboards to tell the story to senior executive leadership, partners and stakeholders.
• Drive organization change and build strong partnerships taking an inclusive approach with cross functional teams and internal stakeholders who have diverging perspectives to ensure that all adhere to best practices and standard approaches.
• Develop project related strategies / frameworks by anticipating potential issues and provides risk mitigations and recommendations.
Experience and Skill Set Requirements
· Minimum 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager
· Advanced knowledge of project management principles, methods and techniques
· Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
· Proven experience facilitation of client meetings/workshops, interpretation of business needs to technical requirements
· Experience creating and documenting project plans and status reports
· Experience managing privacy and security deliverables
· Experience with Agile development concepts and methodologies
· Experience leading technical teams
· Strong technical and business aptitude
· Persistent attention to detail
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills (clear and amp; concise)
· Self-motivated leader with strong interpersonal skills
· Advanced skills in Office365, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, and Visio, and Planview
· Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver within extremely tight deadlines
· Previous government experience is an asset
· Experience with requirements development involving requirements elicitation, analysis, specification and validation
· Strong communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and negotiation skills to work seamlessly in an agile cross-functional team, with clients, vendor(s) and other stakeholders.
· Excellent facilitation, presentation, time-management and problem-solving skills.
· Able to build strong and trusting relationships, liaising effectively stakeholders

· Strong research skills to perform industry research, provide options and make recommendations for solution improvements.

• Experience developing and managing complex projects, estimating resources and preparing/presenting submissions for approval.
• Knowledge of IT systems, tools and databases to develop comprehensive implementation plans.
