Job Title : Embedded Application Engineer
Job Description
Our Client is seeking an Embedded Application Engineer who will be primarily responsible for providing advanced technical support and developing applications for Wireless Mobile Machine Control products. This role involves working with a variety of stakeholders including front-line sales, system integrators, OEMs, service personnel, and end customers to support new development programs, enhance existing products, and provide solutions for Engineered to Order (ETO) requests.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers to define requirements and implement custom applications using the available tools and features within the product portfolio.
- Offer direct support to sales and customers during the pre-sales, design, and application development phases of ETO solutions.
- Author application manuals and technical documents for service and warranty support.
- Communicate effectively with external customers and internal teams, taking ownership to identify and fill knowledge gaps.
- Assist sales teams in collecting requirements and developing product applications for both new and existing customers.
- Work with cross-functional teams in sales & marketing, R&D, manufacturing, service, and operations to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Perform additional duties as required to achieve departmental and business unit objectives.
- Write manuals and design labels for remote controls, ensuring all functions are clearly described.
- Support customers with deployment and troubleshoot any issues to ensure all solutions are functioning properly.
Essential Skills
Bachelor’s / University Degree or College Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.At least 1 year of engineering work experience.Minimum of 1 year of experience interfacing with customers and / or sales marketing teams.Proficiency in C and PLC programming, including developing libraries and functions for customer applications.Strong communication skills with a passion for customer interaction, demonstrating excellent English verbal and written abilities.Ability to read and understand electronic schematics, drawings, and wiring diagrams.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience with electronic control equipment, particularly in embedded systems.Experience in engineering project work, particularly in defining customer requirements and implementing custom applications.Graphic design and layout experience using tools such as CorelDraw, Microsoft Publisher, GIMP, or Adobe Illustrator.Experience in industrial control and automation, with an understanding of hydraulics.Familiarity with RF and wireless communication technologies is advantageous.Proficiency with engineering tools for design, software development, verification, and debugging.Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00 / hr.
