Job Summary : Amental health peer mentor help Mental Health Services of Student Life with their mental health initiatives especially peer support.
Nature of work :
This position reports to the manager of Mental Health Services of Student Life.
A mental health peer mentor listens and provides social and emotional support to students (mentees). A Peer Mentor can also help students practice various skills related to mental health, wellbeing and self-care (, mindfulness routines). They also participate in outreach initiatives around campus to provide education, and resources around mental health issues
