Service Technician – Recreational Vehicles

RV technicians are knowledgeable in various areas such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, etc. If you have skills in any of these, we will teach you the rest! No specific RV experience is required to start as a new RV technician in our dealership. However, you must be handy, dedicated, responsible, and professional. We value honesty and hard work, and we offer a supportive environment where you can grow your skills.

Job Responsibilities

1. Examine and diagnose RV problems.
2. Discuss repairs with the shop foreman or RV service advisor.
3. Communicate additional service requests to the RV service advisor.
4. Plan work procedures in cooperation with the shop foreman.
5. Provide labor time estimates to the RV service advisor.
6. Monitor repair times and update the RV service advisor regularly.
7. Maintain adherence to dealership policies on RV care and operation.
8. Complete documentation for client repairs.
9. Assist in mentoring RV technician trainees.
10. Attend company and factory training sessions.
11. Stay current with factory technical bulletins.
12. Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., hazardous waste disposal).

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Driver's License is required.
