Hello! My name is Alison Hawke and I am an Educational Assistant for EPSB; I am in need of after school care between 2pm-4pm Monday-Friday. I have three boys on the autism spectrum, Connor, Lucas, and Dean. Connor and Lucas are self sufficient, however Dean needs direct supervision at all times. He also requires toileting reminders, and supervision washing hands. He loves water, and would rather play in the water than wash his hands.

I have specific phrases and routines I use when they may be frustrated to help them calm down. They are very sweet boys and require the same routine every day. They also love nature shows, "Scoobie Doo," and simple board games.

Being present and available to supervise my kids is most important to me. We do not use streaming devices in our home, as they are overstimulating for our kids. They like to play and interact with people, even with their speech delays.
