Job Title : Heavy Duty Shop Technician / Parts Installer

Rate of Pay : $21.00 - $23.00 / hour (based on experience)

Shift : Monday - Friday 7 : 00am - 4 : 30pm

Location : St. Catharine's - Dunkirk Rd. and Welland Ave.

Job Type : Temporary to Permanent Hire

We are hiring a Shop Technician / Heavy Duty Parts Installer for a client in St. Catharine's that manufactures high-quality trucks and trucking equipment. Successful applicants will have 2+ years of experience assembling or installing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Job Responsibilities :

• Prepare and install truck components (e.g., weight calibration, pneumatic and electrical systems)
• Build and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems for dump trucks and other trucking equipment
• Perform quality inspections on equipment before / after installation
• Follow safety guidelines set out in the facility
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace
• Actively participate in department meetings
• Undergo general training programs
• Lifting up to 50lbs throughout the shift
• Other tasks as assigned
