Who We Are?

ONxpress Transportation Partners (ONxpress) were chosen by Metrolinx and Infrastructure

Ontario (IO) to enter the Development Phase of the On-Corridor Works project – the largest

project in Metrolinx’s GO Expansion.

Unprecedented in its scale and complexity, this multi-billion-dollar capital program will transform the GO regional rail network with electrification, more frequent service, shorter journey times and a more modernized system for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.

What You'll Do :

• Represent ONxpress on the field and coordinate with Metrolinx representatives.
• Oversee daily operations and manage directly supervising subcontractors.
• Ensure that works are performed as per Go Rail, ONxpress and Metrolinx safety Guidelines.
• Conduct job briefings, safety talk and coordinate works with subcontractors.
• Produce daily reports of performed activities.
• Coordinate with project coordinator and Superintendent if field technical problems occur.
• Recognize, document and report delays.
• Work well with others as a team
• Conduct weekly ONxpress safety inspection.
• All other duties as required.

What You Bring to the Team :

Expected compensation for this role is between $95,000-$115,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to multiple factors including skills, experience and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into consideration. In addition to base salary ONxpress also offers a comprehensive medical and dental program, RRSP with company matching and the potential to participate in our discretionary, performance based bonus program.

This role is a backfill position.

This position is with ONxpress Civils (“CJV” aka the Design & Construction team); the project segment responsible for the modernization and modification of the key area network, including countless innovations in the way the regional rail infrastructure is built.
