The Volunteer’s Role
We aim to empower members to establish a national framework for shaping policies and advocating for Honduras' National System of Protected Areas and Wildlife (SINAPH). We are dedicated to providing technical support to governmental organizations, especially the National Institute for Forest Conservation and Development (ICF), which manages SINAPH.
The objective for this placement will be to elevate the management systems of protected areas in Honduras by strengthening organizations. The volunteer will play a vital role in developing innovative educational methodologies that tackle various environmental challenges, with a focus on fostering leadership in collaboration with partners and local communities.
