THE TEAM

Kepler’s Optimization and Innovation team (Digital Media Team) is made up of forward-thinking media traders with deep expertise across biddable retail media channels. Our team specializes in the Amazon advertising ecosystem (Sponsored Ads, DSP), as well as emerging retail media networks, including Walmart Connect and Target Roundel, with campaigns often activated through Criteo. Team members combine platform-level optimization skills with a keen understanding of macro marketing trends, data privacy, and the evolving retail media landscape.

This team is not simply a trading desk—you are a strategic biddable media expert. You will be client-facing, partner-facing, and seen as an internal authority for brainstorming future‑proof retail media and ad tech solutions that drive client value and help streamline internal workflows through smart automation and innovation.

THE ROLE

A Retail Media Senior Analyst on our Optimization & Innovation team will support a team that leverages data‑driven insights, innovative best practices, and creativity to design, launch, and optimize retail media campaigns across Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Criteo. In this role, you will deliver excellence, push platform innovation, and drive meaningful business outcomes for clients.

What You Will Do

  • Refine your expertise in leveraging digital media channels for maximum impact – focusing on retail media channels (Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc.) as well as social (Facebook, Twitter), video everywhere (Advanced TV: YouTube, Hulu, TV Networks, FireTV, Roku, etc), programmatic media via DSPs (audio, display/native, Digital Out of Home/DOOH, etc), (SEM/PPC: Google, Bing, etc)
  • Act as a key day‑to‑day contact for assigned clients and vendors; track, escalation and solve client issues
  • Partner with clients to understand their business goals, marketing objectives, and competitive constraints
  • Work closely with your Optimization & Innovation Manager and other Kepler team members to design and execute sophisticated programs that deliver breakthrough client results
  • Execute and monitor all aspects of campaign setup; measure performance using sophisticated data analysis
  • Contribute to weekly, monthly, and annual client insights and strategy reports; contribute to all aspects of ongoing program analysis

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 1‑2+ years of digital optimization experience, Amazon Sponsored Ads and DSP, and/or similar retail media network experience is required
  • Preferred experience with client and account management
  • Experience with people management
  • Strong analytical skills, and comfort with MS Excel, data analysis and internet technologies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong ability to create and build relationships
  • Ability to self‑manage, juggle multiple priorities, and pay close attention to details
  • Ability to contribute to fast‑paced, entrepreneurial, team‑based environment

Total Compensation

  • Base Salary: $63,500 - $85,000
