The Role

Neo seeking a highly motivated and agile Talent Program Specialist to help us shape the future of our employee programs and initiatives. This role will require someone who loves a challenge, thinks strategically, and can take ideas from concept to execution. What you'll be doing

  • Talent Programs Leadership : Enhance, create and execute on key talent programs across the company, ensuring they align with our values, culture, and business goals. This includes programs related to leadership development, employee career development and talent experience programs.
  • Onboarding Experience : Lead and elevate Neo’s onboarding process, ensuring it’s engaging, smooth, and aligned with our evolving company culture.
  • Employee Events : Design, implement, and lead innovative and engaging employee events that drive connection, learning, and overall employee engagement. This includes coordination of our Neo Nights, Demo Days and other large scale company events.
  • Compliance Training : Oversee and manage our annual compliance training programs to ensure all employees meet required standards. This includes content development and reviews, communications support, training tracking and follow ups as required.
  • Health & Safety Committee : Lead and manage our health and safety committee to foster a safe, compliant, and healthy work environment for all employees. This includes supporting H&S in all three Neo offices across Calgary, Winnipeg and Toronto.
  • Internal Communications Support : Assist Talent Development & Operations team with drafting written and visual communications for internal company communications, team huddle events, etc.
  • People Operations Support : Assist People Operations Generalists with backend system support, administrative tasks, and generalist duties to streamline workflows.
  • Who we are looking for

  • Proven experience in a Talent, HR, or People Operations role, with a strong track record of building and managing employee programs.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, solve problems creatively, and drive change.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS), HRIS, or other employee-facing platforms is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Health and safety legislation and compliance training experience is a plus.

  • Program Builder : Experience designing and building programs from the ground up, with a focus on creating exceptional employee experiences.
  • Strategic Thinker : Ability to assess and understand the needs of the business and employee base, and create / execute on initiatives that support both short-term goals and long-term company success.
  • Facilitator & Leader : Comfortable facilitating and leading sessions, workshops, and events.
  • Innovative & Agile : Comfortable working in ambiguity and navigating fast-paced, ever-changing environments.
  • Collaborative & Resourceful : A strategic partner who works seamlessly with other departments and thrives in a team-oriented culture.
