Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Functional Analyst and play a vital role in supporting our enterprise systems department! If you’re passionate about enhancing technology systems, and have a knack for improving business processes, we want to hear from you! The Analyst must have a detailed understanding of business processes, along with system set up and system configuration options. In this exciting role, you will map the requirements of the customer to the capabilities of JIBC systems. You’ll be at the forefront of conducting business process reviews (including documentation of current processes, business requirements and solutions and implementation plans), play a key role in supporting the successful testing of system enhancements, and will assist in the development and delivery of staff training plans and support materials.

We're looking for someone with a deep understanding of ERP systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences. The ideal candidate can anticipate business problems, audit processes, recommend solutions, and assist with the development and implement "best fit" solutions that improve the efficiency of the functional area systems. If you're proactive, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have experience in business analysis and systems thinking, this is your chance to make a real impact. Be a part of a forward-thinking team that values innovation and continuous improvement. Apply today!

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; Business Administration or Liberal Arts considered with a strong technical background.
  • Experience designing workflows and business processes, ideally including work in a post-secondary environment.
  • Proven ability to independently gather requirements, interview stakeholders and translate business needs into systems solutions.
  • Experience creating process documentation, training materials, and delivering in-person and virtual training to diverse audiences.
  • Strong understanding of integrated systems, ERP environments, reporting tools, and MS Office applications.
  • Skilled in business analysis techniques, systems thinking, and change and project management principles; experience using MS Visio to create complex swimlane process maps.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess organizational needs, understand system impacts, and champion business and system concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, collaboration, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, evolving, client-focused environment and as a self-directed, collaborative team member.
