Assistant Estates Manager
Fixed Term / Secondment
A secondment opportunity has arisen within the Property Department, Estates Division, to recruit an Assistant Estates Manager who will be operational within Angus to assist the Estates Manager to meet the strategic and (where required) operational objectives within NHS Tayside.
Key responsibilities :
- Ensure compliance of service within agreed statutory, mandatory, safety, environmental and quality standards, policies and procedures.
- Deputise for the Estates Manager or Maintenance Manager as required.
- Work at any NHS Tayside property as necessary.
- Install, repair and maintain mechanical services, plant and equipment within all properties of the organisation so that equipment can carry out its intended purpose safely.
- Ensure the smooth operation of mechanical systems within the organisation.
- Participate in an on‑call rota and be able to travel between NHS sites.
- Achieve the mandatory induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and comply with the Code of Conduct throughout employment.
