- Maintain commercial, residential, and neighbourhood landscape areas to our Cutting Edge standards
- Organize, motivate and manage a crew of landscaping maintenance personnel on a daily basis
- Provide direction and feedback to employees, communicate with managers, and clients
- Operate a truck and trailer, and a variety of small equipment : MowersTrimmersEdger’sSheersSprayersBack Pack BlowersAeratorsSprayersWater pumpsSweepersVarious power & hand tools
- Equipment maintenance checks on trucks, trailers, mowers, and small engines
- Daily paperwork including time-sheets, daily logs, safety documents, and spray records
- Have an attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Perform equipment maintenance and daily checks, ensure all equipment is in proper working order
- Uphold our safety culture and safe work practices
- Complete required paperwork for our safety program and participates in weekly meetings
- Work is labour intensive and will be outdoors in all weather conditions
- Perform various tasks such as : Turf care including mowing, trimming, edging, fertilizing, weeding, and wateringBasic pruning of shrubs and treesRemove litter and debris from sitePlant and water shrubs, bulbs, and annualsInstall mulch, edger, and assist landscape construction divisionIdentify common plant material, diseases, and insect damage
- Landscape Maintenance Lead Hand; 1 year+ Similar Experience
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Bend, rotate and stand for long periods of time
- Class 5 Driver’s Licence - Required
- CSTS-2020
