JOB OVERVIEW
The AME Mechanic Apprentice assists on line and shop maintenance in a safe and efficient manner and in compliance with the Canadian Aviation Regulations and KF Aerospace maintenance manuals and procedures.
Project Maintenance : The Mechanic Apprentice works under a Licensed AME’s supervision on line and heavy maintenance projects, involving :
Demonstrated Technical Skills : The Mechanic Apprentice is expected to be able to demonstrate their capability to perform the following technical functions :

This is a shift work position which will require you to work days, evenings, and weekends. KF Aerospace works on a 3-week rotating shift schedule

As an AME Mechanic Apprentice with KF Aerospace you can start a rewarding career with a team of people who are passionate about their craft. The position starts at $24.10 with bi-annual performance and wage reviews. An employee can increase their wage up to $30.60 as an Apprentice before obtaining their Transport Canada License.
Apprentices are expected to work towards filling out their Logbook & achieving their Transport Canada license. Once you have achieved your Transport Canada License, your wage will increase to $37.28 per hour with room to grow into Senior AME & Shift Lead roles. You are also eligible to receive $2 / hour endorsement pay once an ACA is issued.
