Job description1+ years of press brake operation experience. Ability to read blueprints and job specs. Skilled in using measuring tools like calipers and gauges. Knowledge of sheet metal prep and machine mechanics. Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Familiar with safety protocols and proper lifting techniques. Able to optimize setups and improve production efficiency. Good problem‑solving and decision‑making skills. Works well in a team environment and communicates clearly. Afternoon Shift : Monday to Thursday, 4 : 15pm to 2 : 15am (40 hours per week). Wage Range : CA$21 - CA$24 per hour. Wage is negotiable based on experience and skills, with higher rates offered to candidates with extensive experience. Safety First : The health and safety of our employees is our top priority. About The Job
Overlanders Manufacturing is seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator to join our team. We are looking for a skilled operator with strong mechanical and mathematical abilities and at least 1 year of experience. The ideal candidate is a reliable team player with excellent attendance, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Press Brake Machines to bend sheet metal accurately.
- Set Up Machines with correct tooling and settings.
- Read Blueprints and work orders to understand job specs.
- Perform Bending Operations and adjust machines as needed.
- Program CNC Machines with job parameters when required.
- Inspect Parts using measuring tools to ensure quality.
- Troubleshoot Issues and report problems to supervisors.
- Follow Safety Procedures and wear proper PPE.
- Manage Time to meet production goals.
- Handle Materials safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
