Job Description

Advisors love to build long‑term relationships with people and help them plan financially for the various stages of life. Our Advisor Development Program is designed to prepare you for a successful launch to an advisory career at Sun Life.

The Advisor Trainee position is a temporary contract of up to six‑months , designed as a unique opportunity to explore a rewarding career in financial advice. In this role, you’ll gain hands‑on experience, receive personalized coaching and access cutting‑edge digital tools – while embarking on an exciting learning journey with meaningful opportunities for growth and development. This experience will help you build your confidence and business acumen , establishing a solid foundation for your future success as an advisor.

When a new position becomes available which matches your background and experience, the base pay range will be disclosed and correspond to the opportunity Sun Life will consider you for.

In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
