Job descriptionLoad and unload goods Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Pay and receive payments for goods Perform brake adjustments Perform emergency roadside repairs Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Perform preventive maintenance Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo Air Brake (Z) Endorsement Driver's License (Class 1 or A) Accident or incident reports Bill of lading Driver logbook Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip) Maintenance and repair reports Trip reports Attention to detail Handling heavy loads Large workload Physically demanding Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Will train Involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes Durée de l'emploi : Permanent Langue de travail : Anglais Heures de travail : 40 to 60 hours per week
