Are you looking for a stable, long-term opportunity as an Assembler in the heart of Brantford, Ontario? Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Assembler to join their growing team. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for building high-quality products that meet rigorous industry standards. This position falls under our manufacturing & logistics specialization, where we connect talented individuals with top-tier industrial employers.

In this manufacturing & logistics role, you will work a desirable "straight day" shift, allowing for an excellent work-life balance. The schedule is Monday to Thursday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with a half-day every Friday to kickstart your weekend early. As an Assembler, you will be an integral part of the production line, ensuring that every component is joined with precision and care. Responsibilities
• Assemble products and components accurately, following blueprints, schematics, and work orders to maintain production flow.
• Use a variety of power and hand tools to fasten, join, and secure parts according to specific engineering designs.
• Measure materials and parts precisely using a measuring tape and other precision instruments to ensure proper fit and alignment.
• Perform detailed quality checks and inspections on finished products to identify and report any defects or inconsistencies.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation within the manufacturing & logistics facility to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets for the Brantford, Ontario site.
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols required in a manufacturing & logistics environment.

Qualifications
• Proficiency in using manual hand tools and pneumatic power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions accurately.
• Strong mathematical skills, specifically the ability to read a measuring tape to 1/16th of an inch.
• Exceptional hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components.
• Acute attention to detail to ensure high-quality standards in every Assembler task.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively within a diverse manufacturing & logistics team.
• Previous experience as an Assembler or in a similar manufacturing & logistics role is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to use measuring tools and power equipment.
• Capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs as required by production needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Reliable transportation to the job site in Brantford, Ontario.
• A positive attitude and a commitment to punctuality and attendance.
