Job Description :

Reporting to the Chair Information and Communications Technology SSN the Student Program Assistant provides support to students in various subjects.

Role and Responsibilities :

Supports students as required (could include) one on one or group support in programs within the Faculty of ICT-SSN;

Provide workshops to students to enhance their learning;

Supports Faculty in troubleshoot issues and applied learning;

Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications :

2 Year Diploma or Equivalent in Computer Systems Technician Computer Programming or related IT field;

Bilingualism English and French (spoken and written) (level C)

Minimum two (2) years experience in various ICT fields.

Strong interpersonal skills

Collaborative

Demonstration of ability to support or impart knowledge of the material to support students

This position requires on-site work at Algonquin Colleges Woodroffe (Ottawa) Campus.
