Job Overview
The Special Projects Support Clerk is responsible for providing project support which can include reviewing Member information, validating entries into designated systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Role
In the role, you will be responsible for the following :
Providing project support to the operations teamAcquire information from various sources and departments, compile, sort, verify and correct information to be entered, and / or review information for completeness, accuracy, and to improve overall quality when requiredFilter and "clean" existing files and / or data to ensure up to information when requiredAssist in digitizing files by scanning them to store electronically, ensure appropriate file tags and storage when requiredMaintain file requirements by following program techniques and proceduresPerform all data entry related tasks including sorting, proofing, updating, and storing files accurately and efficiently when requiredProcess and resolve inquiries from the business when requiredVerify Member and account information by reviewing, correcting, deleting; purging files to eliminate duplication of informationMaintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information organized and confidentialWork with management to prioritize business and informational needs and provide updates along the wayAdhere to policies and procedures at all times, as amended from time to timeComplete all work accurately and efficientlyContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededConsider health & safety as a primary concern to ensure the overall well-being of yourself and othersPerform other duties as requiredRequired Skills and Qualifications
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalentCompetent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Temenos Banking System, LaserficheUnderstanding of membership and loan files is considered an assetBe organized in your work and time managementMust have high level of accuracy and efficient data entry skillsInherently demonstrate a high level of integrity and trustworthinessMust be able to work well with minimum supervisionAbility to effectively problem solve to find creative and beneficial solutionsBe flexible and adaptable to changing prioritiesWork within established work hours to meet member service demandsAbility to identify and mitigate enterprise risk factors and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, legislation and FirstOntario policies and proceduresOur inclusive work environment welcomes diversity and supports accessibility.
