We’re thrilled to partner with a forward-thinking veterinary hospital that’s redefining what modern veterinary medicine looks like. This is a cutting-edge, exceptionally well-run facility built around an advanced team-based model that fully leverages the expertise of RVTs. The result? A streamlined workflow where doctors can focus on diagnostics, treatment planning, and hands‑on medicine—while highly skilled RVTs handle most client communication.

This position is designed for confident, experienced veterinarians who thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. It’s not suitable for new graduates, as the hospital is seeking a DVM who’s comfortable working independently across surgery, dentistry, emergencies, urgent care, and general practice.

The Role

In this client‑facing RVT model , the DVM leads medical decision‑making while RVTs take charge of intake and communication. The workflow is designed for maximum efficiency :

• The RVT greets the client, performs the full physical exam, TPR, and history.
• The RVT reviews findings and a proposed treatment plan with the DVM.
• The DVM examines the patient, finalizes or adjusts the plan.
• The RVT carries out the plan and wraps up the appointment.

DVMs may choose to speak directly with clients as needed, but it’s not the norm. This model empowers RVTs and ensures doctors can dedicate their time to complex cases and advanced procedures.
