PLC Programmer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Controls Software Designer with 4–5 years of hands-on expertise in Allen-Bradley Rockwell PLCs and exposure to other PLC platforms. This role is highly integration-focused (approximately 80%), involving troubleshooting, maintenance, and programming across three production lines for a cutting-edge wearable diabetic device. You will work closely with a team of 15 designers and programmers on large-scale automation projects, where experience with ABB robotics is considered a strong asset. Responsibilities include commissioning, system integration, and supporting advanced automation solutions. The position requires travel to the U.S. and Europe for up to six weeks and offers the opportunity to contribute to an innovative product at our Cambridge, Ontario site.

Must Haves :

• 4-5 years of PLC Integration experience
• 1-2 years working within Allen Bradley PLC
• Ability to travel to USA and Europe (Maximum travel time is 6 weeks)
