Industrial Mechanical Technician (Millwright)

Partner with the best

This position will be responsible to perform on-site installation and maintenance services of systems and equipment and ongoing preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration after installation under Field Specialist supervision. All resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site / property, mainly within the Canada region. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair, and refurbish sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering.

As a Millwright you will be responsible for :

• All on site (Customer or BH Site) life extensions, repairs and inspection-related service activities able to be performed at customer site, includes onsite machining, NDT, blading, winding, critical welding, generator diagnostics.
• The person will be capable to work with hydraulic tooling devices, control fixtures, disassemble, reassemble machinery, rigging and lifting.
• Person needs to read and understand mechanical drawings and specifications, in detail, Instrument Specifications, mechanical auxiliaries, etc.
• Ideally certified as apprentice industrial mechanics (millwrights) or in process for such certification.

To be successful in this role you will :

Knowledge of turbine generators and or compressors equipment. Strong knowledge on rotating equipment installation / maintenance.

The main location for this role will be based in Leduc, Alberta with frequent travels within Canada or other countries with the North America region.
