Job Opportunity – Junior Civil Engineer (Recent Graduate)
Job Summary : We are seeking a motivated Junior Civil Engineer (recent graduate) to join our
innovative R&D team at AeroNova Advanced Materials. In this entry-level role, you will support the
development and optimization of lightweight, high-insulation pre-cast concrete elements
integrated with our proprietary aerogel composites. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent
graduate passionate about sustainable construction, materials science, and turning academic

Key Responsibilities :
Assist in research and development of pre-cast concrete formulations incorporating
aerogel to improve thermal insulation, reduce weight, and enhance durability.
Support the design, prototyping, and testing of pre-cast concrete components (e.g., panels,
blocks, and structural elements) to meet industry standards for strength, fire resistance,
and environmental performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including materials scientists, senior engineers,
and product developers, to integrate aerogel technology into pre-cast processes.
Participate in laboratory experiments, simulations, and field trials to evaluate material
properties such as compressive strength, thermal conductivity, and moisture resistance.
Help analyze data using engineering software and tools to support optimization of mix
designs, curing processes, and manufacturing techniques.
Contribute to technical documentation, reports, and presentations to aid the product
development and stakeholder communication.
Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in sustainable
materials and pre-cast concrete.
Support intellectual property activities, such as assisting with documentation for potential
patent applications.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree (completed) in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, and Chemical
Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree or focus on concrete technology,
composites, or sustainable materials is a plus. Recent graduates (0–2 years of professional
experience) are strongly encouraged to apply.
Strong foundational knowledge of concrete properties, mix design basics, and relevant
testing standards (e.g., ASTM, ACI).
Exposure to advanced materials (e.g., aerogels, polymers, or nanomaterials) through
coursework, projects, internships, or research is highly desirable.
Hands-on experience with lab testing, prototyping, or software tools (e.g., MATLAB,
AutoCAD, or simulation software) from academic projects or internships is an asset.
Excellent problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn, and a demonstrated interest in
innovative materials engineering.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with experience in group projects or
multidisciplinary settings.
