Network Analyst - Senior

Description : The candidate will be responsible for implementing, modernizing, managing and supporting our network infrastructure, along with proactive monitoring, analysis and reporting.

• Achieve a high availability IT network infrastructure and IT network services, in accordance with the government of Alberta, Technology Services, Service Level Agreements.
• Hands‑on implementation, upgrading, trouble‑shooting of network software and hardware infrastructure.
• Manage and prioritize workload. Check and balance the workload against the team requirements, to result in a service delivery model characterized by cross‑training, workload sharing and collaborative team effort.
• Effective teamwork and proficient communication with team members and supported ministries.
• Lead and / or participate in networking projects, and plan, design, implement, support and document best practices.
• Participate and contribute to cross‑function IT projects by providing technical IT networking know‑how and expertise.
• Perform problem diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolution.
• Plan for software and hardware upgrades and / or migrations.
• Develop and maintain documentation.
• Develop network related procedures.
• Provide cross training and knowledge transfer to team members.
