Job Title : SAP BTP – Extension Suite

Location : Calgary, AB

Work Model : Onsite preferred, Ability to travel to Calgary will be considered.

Duration : ASAP to December 31, with Extension.

About the Team & Impact

Join a high-impact initiative supporting SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) innovation at Suncor. You’ll lead the Extension Suite stream, shaping scalable, secure, and modern enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP BTP Extension Suite strategy and implementation
• Design and develop applications using ABAP RAP, CAP (Node.js / Java), and front-end tech
• Configure and manage SAP BTP services across Kyma, Cloud Foundry, and ABAP environments
• Integrate RESTful APIs, OData services, and secure protocols (HTTP / HTTPS)
• Implement app routing and security using XSUAA
• Collaborate in Agile / DevOps environments to deliver iterative solutions
• Provide thought leadership on SAP BTP capabilities and best practices
• Support BTP administration and performance optimization
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture and security standards
• Travel to Calgary as needed for stakeholder engagement

Proven SAP BTP leadership and hands-on delivery experience

Proficiency in ABAP RAP, CAP (Node.js or Java), JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3

Experience with SAP BTP Cloud Foundry, SAP U5, and / or Fiori Elements

Strong understanding of Kyma, Cloud Foundry, and ABAP runtimes

Familiarity with RESTful APIs, OData, HTTP / HTTPS protocols

Experience with app routers and XSUAA-based security

Nice-to-Have - SAP BTP administration expertise

Nice-to-Have - Experience in energy or enterprise-scale environments

Nice-to-Have - Agile certification or DevOps tooling experience

Nice-to-Have - UI / UX design familiarity within SAP ecosystem
