THE ROLE :
The Video Processing Engine (VPE) team is looking for an individual to join our team and participate in the deployment and verification of the VPE component delivered to Client’s award winning APUs and dGPUs.
THE PERSON :
The ideal candidate should have a passion for hardware engineering design and verification, have a team first and cooperative approach, and be an independent and creative problem solver.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assist with IP integration into multiple SOCs, including aligning tools, shared components, creating release and integration documentation
- Design verification of an IP block for multiple projects. This includes the following : development and implementation of new test bench components and features, test development and implementation, test debug, coverage review and analysis
- Work closely with a team of managers, design verification and design engineering leads to deliver our commitments under aggressive, market-driven schedules
KEY SKILLS :
A successful candidate should have many of the following technical skills in his or her arsenal
- Experience working with different types of tools, flows, and methodology
- Experience driving triage and debug of unfamiliar issues
- Experience with verification languages like System Verilog, Verilog, C / C++
- Experience with constrained random UVM based verification methodology
- Experience with start to finish block verification tasks, including test plan writing, test bench development, test writing, debugging, and regression
- Linux OS familiarity is necessary

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :
- Minimum BSEE / CE, or equivalent degree
- Candidates with 3-5 years of deployment and / or design verification engineering experience preferred
