League Projects is a leading oilfield construction company that provides quality Pipeline Construction, Pipeline Integrity, Facility Construction, and Module Construction to western Canada’s energy sector. Position Title : Stainless Steel Welder Location : Various Project Locations throughout Western Canada, primarily within Alberta and British Columbia Availability : MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ASAP Duties and Responsibilities : Perform high-quality TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) stainless steel welding, including machinery setup. Interpret welding procedure specifications and blueprints. Fabricate and assemble components for custom fabrication, pressure vessels, and pressure piping systems. Operate hand tools for cutting, fitting, and forming materials with precision. Maintain meticulous attention to detail, ensuring superior craftsmanship and quality assurance. Demonstrate strong teamwork and collaborative problem-solving with colleagues. Follow all safety protocols and demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining a zero-incident workplace. Required Skills : To succeed in this role, you must have : A minimum of 5 years of experience in stainless steel TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding, including the initial setup of welding machinery. Previous welding certifications are an asset. The ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately. Previous experience working with pressure vessels or pressure piping. Proficiency in using hand tools for cutting, fitting, and forming various parts, components, and subassemblies. A willingness to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment. Superior attention to detail and a commitment to quality excellence. Knowledge of metallurgy and finishing techniques specific to stainless steel applications. Additional Requirements : Valid Journeyman Welder Certification or equivalent. "B" Pressure Welding Ticket (an asset). CWB certification for stainless steel welding.
