Job description
Job Title: Forklift Operator
Location: Hartland, New Brunswick (On-site)
Work Type: On-going
Salary: $20 an hour, plus 4% vacation pay
Vacancy: Existing vacancy This Forklift Operator role is ideal for a professional who enjoys fast-paced warehouse environments, solving logistics and inventory movement challenges, and working within a team-focused distribution setting. The right person will recognize this role as a natural next step if they have warehouse experience, forklift certification, and enjoy physically active work with a consistent schedule. What You'll Do
  • Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, move, stack, and store products throughout the warehouse.
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments efficiently and accurately.
  • Sort packages and freight according to operational requirements.
  • Verify package labels and shipment information for accuracy.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing freight for damage and report discrepancies.
  • Lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Follow workplace health, safety, and operational procedures at all times.
  • Support dock operations and general warehouse activities as required.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve productivity and service targets.
What You’ll Bring
  • Valid forklift certification (required).
  • Clean criminal background check (required).
  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • CSA-approved safety boots that cover your ankle (required).
  • Ability to repeatedly lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Physical stamina to perform demanding warehouse duties.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented approach.
  • Effective communication skills.
