Seasonal Fulltime Water & Sewer Labourer

Rob Smith & Son Backhoe & Trucking Ltd. is COR certified company engaged in the construction industry all over Manitoba.The base of operations is located in rural Manitoba just north of Neepawa, MB.

Responsibilities / Duties include but are not limited to :

Assist in the installation, maintenance and repair of water and sewer systems, including pipes, valves, and related infrastructure.
Perform various manual labour tasks to assist in infrastructure projects.
Help with site set up, cleanup, and general upkeep of work areas.
Adhere to workplace safety guidelines and procedures.
Assist in handling materials and supplies as needed.
Carry out additional tasks as directed to support overall operations.
Running machinery and equipment and various other activities when needed.

The successful applicant should possess the following skills and qualifications :

Must be physically capable of performing demanding tasks, including lifting, digging, and working in various weather conditions.

Must be willing to work weekends when required.

Must be able to communicate effectively.

Enjoy working outside.

Valid Class 5 Drivers License

Will be required to take WHMIS training among other courses as required.

Ability to work in a team environment.

This position has the potential to turn into a permanent fulltime position.
