I’ve personally beaten prediabetes and my own mother has also been in remission for a while. That lifestyle change journey opened my eyes and fired me up with a mission : to make diabetes optional. An initial working prototype of our HIPAA / PHIPA compliant platform is ready.

About Kokoro Health

We’re a seed-stage digital health startup taking a first-principles approach to using a blend of technology, clinical evidence, health teams and insurance reimbursement to make preventing and reversing diabetes infinitely scalable with a personalized medicine root cause approach. Our virtual clinic is orders of magnitude better than existing alternatives and offers :

The Role : Chief Technology Officer (Co-founder)

I’m searching for an AI / ML engineering leader who can architect and build our platform from scratch, with deep experience in :

Health Tech & EMRs (bonus if you’ve integrated or built EHR systems)

AI / ML (deep learning, reinforcement learning, LLMs)

Startup-Style Execution (using agents to ship complex products fast, from first principles)

You’ll :

Own the technical vision and product architecture

Develop advanced AI modules (video avatars, voice agents)

Collaborate on strategic decisions, from product roadmap to fundraising

Work relentlessly to solve tough engineering and data challenges

Who You Are

Excited by the idea of a moonshot that might literally save lives

Comfortable with intense, all-in commitment at the earliest stage of a startup

Skilled at learning quickly and pivoting fast

Compensation & Commitment

True co-founder status with significant equity from day one

Small escrow-backed stipend to cover basic expenses initially (pre-seed phase)
