This is a contract position for a for our public sector client.

Work location : 222 Jarvis St., Toronto, ON, M7A 0B6

Duration : 3 months

7.25 hours / day

This is a Hybrid role that requires the candidate to be onsite 3 days of the week (This is a mandatory requirement of the role and is non-negotiable outside of exceptional circumstances.)

Responsibilities

Provide data extracts and analysis to assist business analysis and decision making.

Assist in business solution design to ensure its feasibility to enhance existing Oracle Payment functionalities.

Provide technical solution design to minimize potential risks and address security concerns.

Develop scripts to implement the solution to meet business needs.

Perform unit test to ensure the application operate as expected.

Prepare change manage releases for script promotion to various environments.

Prepare necessary technical documentation.

Provide support to link test, system integration test, user acceptance test and address any defects as raised.

Participate in cutover plan preparation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated work experience in Java, Oracle Application Frame (OAF).
• Strong programming skills in Oracle database, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Workflow, PL / SQL, SQL, XML, BI Publisher, Unix shell scripts and SQL tuning etc.
• Strong skills in API and Web Service development and Oracle APEX.
