What is the Opportunity?

As part of an alliance agreement, Aecon Nuclear has been awarded a contract with Ontario Power Generation to support the Darlington New Nuclear Project (DNNP, SMRX Project). Aecon, in conjunction with their main construction partner Kiewit, will support the validation phase of design, procurement, site preparation, and construction of the Unit 1 Small Modular Reactor at the Darlington site.

Reporting to the Power Block Execution Director for an operational perspective and Project Controls Lead Planner for all technical matters, the Site Execution Planner will support the maintenance of project schedules across the Power Block during the physical execution phase, encompassing both the Nuclear Island (NI) and Conventional Island (CI) scope.

The Site Execution Planner responsibilities include supporting the construction execution team in monitoring day-to-day field site activities, and prioritizing work execution against the project schedule, including :
