Position Details

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team in Edmonton. In this role, you would oversee technical and financial project performance, in addition to ongoing business development activities. You should be an experienced engineer with an excellent track record, both technically and in business development. Creative thinking and a proactive attitude, along with strong communication, organizational and report writing skills, are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to :

• Maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
• Maintain and oversee overall the team's project financial performance (annual profit target).
• Maintain business development and the team's backlog (annual revenue and new work targets).
• Provide mentorship and career development guidance to the team
• Ensure technical quality is maintained for the team.
• Maintain career development as required to maintain professional designations
• Maintain team account collections and payables.
• Build and maintain new and existing client relationships.
• Participate in AME's ongoing strategic planning with internal leadership (twice per year).
• Build and maintain a presence in the industry and sector served by the team, through community, industry, and educational engagement.
• Participate in developing internal technical guidance documents.
• Participate in relevant conferences annually.
• Develop and provide presentations to employees, clients, or at conferences.
