Job Opportunity : Senior Estimator
Location : Edmonton, Alberta
Salary Range : $145,000 - $160,000
About the Company - Hays is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to join a reputable and rapidly growing national commercial General Contractor in Edmonton. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to advance their career within a dynamic and supportive environment.
About the Role - Lead and manage the estimating process for various commercial construction projects. Collaborate with a well-established and organized team of 10+ estimators. Provide accurate and detailed cost estimates to support project planning and execution. Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates. Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
Responsibilities -
- Lead and manage the estimating process for various commercial construction projects.
- Collaborate with a well-established and organized team of 10 estimators.
- Provide accurate and detailed cost estimates to support project planning and execution.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates.
- Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
Qualifications - 10-20 years of experience in estimating within the construction industry. Proven track record of delivering accurate and timely estimates. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in relevant estimating software and tools.
