Founded in 1899, St. Andrew's College (SAC) is an independent, all-boys university preparatory school for Grades 5-12. Located 40 minutes north of Toronto, SAC's 126-acre campus is home to a mix of 650 boarding and day students from 25 countries. As set out in our mission statement, SAC's rigorous academic program is complemented by a wide range of co-curricular activities designed to develop “the complete man, the well-rounded citizen.” All boys participate in the leadership program and the extensive athletic program (71 teams across 22 sports). Graduates gain entry to top universities in Canada, the U.S., and abroad and are part of a network of 6,000 Old Boys around the world.
We invite applications for an LTO contract opportunity at St. Andrew's College in the role of biology teacher reporting to the Deputy Head of School. This LTO position will commence in September 2025 and end in December 2025.
The college seeks an exceptional educator to teach Grade 11 and 12 biology courses, including AP Biology.
Teachers at St. Andrew's College bring passion, innovation, and expertise to their instructional practice while espousing our core values of accountability, courage, integrity, creativity, respect, empathy, and resilience. If you are the kind of teacher with a deep sense of purpose, desirous of the autonomy to lead, and seeking support for personal growth, tell us your story.

If you would like to participate in the full life of a school at the forefront of technology, boasting outstanding classroom and athletic facilities, and fostering a collegiality and warm culture, we would like to hear from you. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan.
