Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

This position will be responsible for completing the settlement processing for all deceased client’s assets at IGM. The individual should be a strong team player who enjoys and excels working in a challenging, and fast paste environment. The individual will be comfortable working on multiply applications and handling all account types and different products such as Mutual Funds, GIC’s, Stocks, Bonds etc.; with focus of providing an exceptional client experience. The individual would be responsible to handle all types of client requests accurately and effectively with ensuring they are processed in a timely manner for settlement of estate assets.

Duties Include :

Interpreting and analyzing documentation for the settlement of all account types and variety of products for a deceased IGM client estate.

Process the settlement of all deceased client accounts which includes redemptions, transfers, account and tax adjustments, service set-up and account set ups and non-resident processing.

Ensure the processing of documents based on the client request received and completing according to the Investors Group policy and procedures and compliance guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS :

Minimum 1 -2 years’ experience in an investment or financial services environment.

Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and French

Mutual Fund and Financial Industry knowledge and experience is an asset

Well-developed knowledge of Investors Group products and services.

Experience with TreX, DCA, SAS and RBroker operating systems along with strong PC skills working with Windows, Excel and Word

Proven analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills

Detail-oriented, accurate, attention to details and able to work well in a deadline driven environment

Ability to multi-task and adapt to frequently changing priorities

Strong organizational, Interpersonal and time-management skills.
