We are a busy full-service law firm in Vaughan, practicing civil litigation, real estate, corporate law, and more. We are growing and looking for a bright and hardworking litigation associate.
The firm has a broad litigation practice which includes civil / commercial litigation, construction law, estate litigation, and employment law. This is an opportunity to gain wide exposure to many areas of litigation and hands on experience.
We are looking for a motivated and confident Litigation Lawyer to join our dynamic and growing firm in servicing our diverse range of clients.
The successful candidate will have excellent academic credentials, impeccable research and writing skills, strong attention to detail, and between 2 to 5 years of litigation experience and experience in attending hearings at all levels of court.
Knowledge in the areas of : Construction Law; Employment Law, Real Estate Law; Estates and / or the mortgage enforcement / power of sale process; along with experience in Creditors’ Rights Law is preferred; but not required.
The selected applicant must be a member in good standing of the Law Society of Ontario. They must be able to independently manage civil litigation files; draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and factum; have superior written and oral skills; and attend both in and out of court appearances such as discoveries and other legal proceedings. The ideal candidate must also demonstrate strong research skills and be able to operate in fast-paced high volume practice.
