SUMMARY
Responsible for completing a variety of tasks related to the preparation and service of food to customers, and maintaining a clean and pleasant dining environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and thank customers
- Take customer food and beverage orders verbally or via automated systems
- Relay orders from service counter to kitchen
- Cook, prepare, package, and pour food and beverages using kitchen equipment, following food safety and sanitation procedures
- Stock kitchen and service areas with necessary supplies
- Maintain salsa bars with sauces, condiments, and utensils
- Fill customer orders efficiently
- Handle customer payments and give change using the cash register
- Unload deliveries of food, beverages, and supplies
- Clean the restaurant interior and exterior, including floors, tables, windows, and kitchen equipment
- Follow alcohol laws if applicable
- Ensure safe access to the restaurant
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :
No supervisory responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS :
Must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Requirements include :
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, hear, use hands, reach, grasp, and carry items. May need to lift 25-50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT :
Moderate to high noise levels, with conditions varying by season, day, and time. Accommodations available for disabilities.
Positions include Team Member, Cashier, Cook, Line Server, Grill, Host / Hostess.
