Job description

Our client, an established employer in Canada is seeking a Sr GIS Analyst to join their team. Reporting to the Agile Team Development Manager, this role will work on troubleshooting issues, develop web applications, and contribute to key projects.

This is an 6 month contract with potential for extension - hybrid in Vancouver.

Key Responsibilities :

Administer and maintain GIS and FME platforms, servers, and databases.
Support GIS integrations, perform data transformations, and ensure data quality.
Develop GIS web applications (Experience Builder, Dashboards, Field Maps, Survey123).
Maintain Esri geodatabases and ArcGIS REST-based tools / APIs.
Troubleshoot GIS software, hardware, and data-related issues.
Provide GIS support, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications :

Degree / diploma in GIS, Computer Science, or a related field.

8+ years of GIS experience, including ArcGIS Enterprise and FME Flow / Form.

Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, Desktop, FME, and web GIS tools.

Experience with Esri Geodatabases, ArcGIS REST APIs, Python, .NET, C#, and JavaScript.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
