Work location(s) to choose from :   Burlington  Oakville  Markham  Toronto  Mississauga Waterloo Job Types :  full-time permanent role available with the option of a 4-day or 3-day work week Salary : $80,000.00-$102,000.00 per year As a  Psychologist  on our team you will report to the Chief Clinical Officer, and work as part of an interdisciplinary team. You will provide psychological assessments (cognitive, adaptive, and psycho-educational) to children up to the age of 15.   Here’s what you’ll need to be successful :   Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with specific training in Psychological assessment.  Registered with, or eligible for registration with, the College of Psychology of Ontario  Minimum of (1) years of recent related experience working with parents and children impacted by a mental health and or developmental disorder.  Specific expertise and experience in psychological assessment with low mental ability or behaviour disordered populations is essential.  Specific knowledge of and experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder, the Autism Diagnostic Observational Scale, and the Autism Diagnostic Interview will be an asset.  Knowledge of developmental disorders  Ability to plan and organize workload and establish priorities.  Ability to exercise sound judgment, decision-making and problem solving.  Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.  Knowledge of community dynamics, agencies and resources.  Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.  Ability to deal effectively with wide range of community and facility contacts.  Ability to respect client's rights, values and preferences including multi-cultural issues.  What Monarch House can offer to you We are proud of our friendly environment, supportive leadership and the knowledgeable team members who make it all possible.
