Job descriptionMinimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the Power Generation sector. Diploma in Mechanical or Industrial Technology or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and ERP software (preferably Infor Visual Mfg). Strong understanding of ASTM, ASME, ANSI, CSA, and API standards. Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and mechanical drawings. Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and manufacturing best practices. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.

Job Summary :
We are seeking a Production Supervisor (Electrical / Mechanical) (2) to oversee plant operations and ensure production efficiency, quality, and safety. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment and a strong understanding of production processes, compliance standards, and team management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise daily plant operations, ensuring production goals are met on schedule and within budget.
- Monitor workflow and implement action plans to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Oversee compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and ISO standards.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Project Management, and Purchasing teams to optimize production schedules and material flow.
- Conduct regular team meetings to address performance, expectations, and production output.
- Train, mentor, and support production staff while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Track plant performance, generate reports, and recommend improvements to streamline manufacturing processes.
- Participate in hiring, performance evaluations, attendance tracking, and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Ensure shop floor organization, cleanliness, and adherence to continuous improvement initiatives.
